Description

Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles such as vans, lorries, or flatbeds to transport goods
  • Load and unload cargo
  • Ensure timely deliveries to designated locations
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
  • Adhere to all safety regulations while driving
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence with Commercial Driving entitlement
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
  • Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to drive various types of vehicles including vans and lorries
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 1 month


Pay:
£12.47 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
