Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to work at one of our reputable primary schools in Banbury.

Part time hours: 2/3 days per week.

Timings: 08:30 - 15:30.


Duties:


  • The main role will be a mix of one to one support with a year 6 SEN child and traditional teaching assistant work with a year 4 child.
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs
  • Knowledge of special education principles and practices
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students

£85.00-£90.00 per day


Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Teaching Assistant: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Enhanced Children's DBS on the Update Service (required)
