What will the apprentice be doing?

Typical day to day duties will include:

  • Welding
  • Finishing
  • MIG welding on a variety of jobs
  • Prepare materials for jobs
  • Maintain work area
  • Small amount of time using press brake
  • Housekeeping

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This is a level 2 Welding apprenticeship delivered over a period of 18 months.

The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre in Telford, TF3 3AJ, 2 days per week during this time.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
