What will the role involve?
Reporting to the Patient Admin Coordinator, as a Private Patient Admin Assistant you would be responsible for supporting the Private Patient Coordinator in ensuring that the private patient pathway is followed accurately.
- Supporting the Private Patient Coordinator in all private patient telephone enquiries, ensuring that calls are answered promptly and politely.
- To book patient appointments ensuring that the correct clinical spacing is used with the most appropriate Consultant Clinical Director.
- To be responsible for ensuring that all private patient reminder calls are conducted in line with team processes.
- Supporting the Private Patient Coordinator in ensuring that all clinical correspondence is actioned and completed in a timely manner
- To ensure that all private patients have all of their follow up appointments booked at the time of booking theatre slots
- Processing patient invoice and ensuring patient payments are collected and recorded accurately
- To maintain accurate private patient records both paperbased and electronically
- To maintain a positive relationship at every interaction with internal or external staff.
- To promptly escalate any unresolved or complex patient or client related issues in a timely manner to the Private Patient Coordinator.
- Producing bespoke, clinical outcome letters
- To provide receptionist support for private clinics.
What skills and experience do I need for the role?
- GCSE's in at least Maths and English
- First class communication skills both verbal & written
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Collaborative approach to working in a team
- Striving to achieve results.
