The above posts exist within the Vale of Glamorgan's Directorate of Environmental and Housing Services - Business Support Team, which comprises interlinked services within Neighhourhood Services and Transport and Housing.

All, of these service areas feature large, high profile, front-line operations delivering various functions directly to citizens of, and visitors to, the Vale of Glamorgan.

About the role

Pay Details:
Grade - SCP £21,575 - £22,369) p.a

Hours of Work - 37 hours p/w

Main Place of Work - Offices are based at the Alps Depot in Wenvoe


Description:


To provide administrative support to the Directorate by using a wide variety of systems as well as assist in the organisations, delivery and continuous improvement of services to our customers.


About you

You will need:

  • A minimum of one year general administrative services experience.
  • Experience of a wide range of software packages to deliver administrative services.
  • Experience to work to deadlines and targets
  • Prepare and collate management reports and information, when required.
  • Experience of dealing with information and attention to detail and strong prioritisation skills.
  • Knowledge of Services provided by the Directorate including the Pool Car Scheme.
  • Knowledge of good practices in providing customer care services.
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Office Outlook.
  • Computer literate with proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programmes

Including:
(Microsoft Office including Excel, Word).

  • Committed to seeing a request through to completion whilst adhering to strict time constraints.
