Purchasing Officer - Sheffield - £25,000 - £30,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a rapidly growing leading manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Officer to join their team.

Working closely with the Production Office Manager, you will ensure all stock is ordered in time to meet production needs and you will build strong relationships with suppliers to drive supply chain efficiency.

The business is on track to double in size over the next few years, so it is a very exciting time to join as they continue on this journey.

Purchasing Officer Responsibilities:

Evaluating Suppliers
Negotiating Contracts
Running the Daily MRP
Track Orders and Chase deliveries
Place Orders
Maintain and update all stock records
Monitor stock levels
Investigate stock discrepancies

Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 3pm (Friday). 30 minute lunch and 15 minute morning break

Required Skills & Experience:

Previous experience working in a purchasing or supply chain role
Excellent computer skills (Sage experience desirable)
Good phone Manner
Organisation Skills
Energetic + Proactive
