ABOUT THE ROLE
Working in a close team of around 28 credit controllers in an exciting and fast-paced environment where you are responsible for high-profile clients, with support from your Manager and team.
You will build relationships with your tenants and work closely with your Client Accountants, Treasury and Property Managers in order to give your clients the best service possible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Regularly liaising and working in conjunction with Property Managers and Client Accounts dedicated to specific Clients or properties
- Maintain tenant database with accurate details to assist in pursuing arrears
- Work with a minimum of supervision on the collection of overdue accounts
- Acting proactively prior to deadlines in contacting regular late payers
- Uses initiative to achieve targeted results, while promoting customer goodwill
- Daily liaison with Cashiers to enable correct information is available to the Property Managers
- Reconciliation of accounts when necessary
- Reporting directly to Clients on the progress of obtaining arrears
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in Credit Control preferred
- Proficient in Excel & good IT skills
- Professional telephone manner, clear communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy when required
- Work well in a team environment
- Organised and able to work on own initiative, ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Basic accounting knowledge and able to reconcile accounts when necessary
Salary:
£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
