Description

MAUCHLINE

XX HOURS PER WEEK
Hello everyone, I am a Jean and live in Mauchline. I am looking for a female personal assistant to join my team.

I am quite independent & require a lot of encouragement to get involved in activities. I enjoy talking about my family & the local area. I love to spend time people watching from my house window.

I like to watch the children play in the summer and I like to watch the snow in the winter.

I love animals, music and films. I have pet birds & fish and require assistance to care for them.

I can do most things independently with prompting. I require my team to support me with personal care, meal preparation & medication administration.

A driver would also be preferred as I have my own car.

My team also assist some of my neighbours when they are not supporting me to do some daily task, this is within a small cul de sac where I live.

My shifts are generally 10:30am-4pm & 4pm-9:30pm with alternative weekends.

Hi I am Kevin and I live in the same cul de sack as Jean.

I am a very happy go lucky guy who loves to spend time out and about in my local community.

I like to go long drives in my car and also to go and visit my brother.

I like to attend local groups and go to the odd show for an evening out.

I also like to go away on holiday with my staff places such as Blackpool, the highlands or on a special occasion maybe a Mediterranean cruise.

I need support with all aspects of daily living.

This can be help to get up and showered in the morning, getting my medication, maintaining my home to a high standard and cooking all my meals.

I need support form 7am in the morning till 11pm at night. These hours are generally spilt into 2 shifts. 7am till 3pm and 3pm till 11pm.

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.

No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
