Newstaff Employment Services are recruiting for a Paralegal with experience in Family Law, to join a successful firm of Solicitors.

The role is based in the Luton office, but the successful applicant will be expected to support senior members of the team at court or at client meetings.

If you have great client care, the ability to develop client relationships and are able to work independently and within a team, then this might be the right opportunity for you.

Strong academic ability (ideally a degree of 2:1 or above);
Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication;
A demonstrable interest in law and in particular Public Family Law;
Ability to assimilate, analyse and present information clearly and precisely;
Ability to communicate both in writing and orally with a wide range of people;
The ability to demonstrate a courteous, helpful and pleasant manner both in person and on the phone;
Ability to support the needs of the vulnerable;
Efficiency, reliability and flexibility;
Selfmotivation with the ability to be a selfstarter and work independently or within a team;
Proven IT skills, including the use of case management systems, MS Word, Outlook and Excel;
Personal pride in the quality of their work which should be to a high standard;
LPC would be an advantage, but experience within family law and ideally public family law is a prerequisite for this opportunity;
Valid driving licence.
