Gearbox Service Fitter - Bromsgrove, United Kingdom - Recra Consulting
Description
Main Duties:
- Strip down and assessment of industrial gearboxes and motors.
- Fault finding and completing service job sheets.
- Cleaning and degreasing components.
- Replacing faulty gears, shafts, bearings, and seals to manufacturer's tolerances.
- Gearbox and motor assembly and testing.
- Painting and preparing for despatch.
Ideal skills:
- Mechanical fitting.
- Some electrical knowledge.
- Machining (lathe, presses & milling machines, etc.).
- Computer literate.
- Willing to work on customer's sites.
- Driving license.
- Forklift license.
