We believe the successful Inside Sales Executive should have the following skills:

Strong desire to acquire new business and nurture/develop existing business
A proficient phone manner with the ability to develop close working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Communicate with confidence and interact professionally at all levels
Good excel, word and power point skills
Team player with a strong work ethic
Proactive, logical and results driven
Well organized with good time management skills
Knowledge of MSC internal systems (advantageous)

The key tasks for the Inside Sales Executive are:

Identify and develop new multi trade Export business opportunities through proactive communication with the NVOCC customers
Promoting attractive new business opportunities to the Trade teams
Generate detailed and accurate quotations in line with the Trade strategy
Ensure quotations are sent to the customer in a timely manner
Proactively follow up quotations to ensure new bookings are secured and market feedback is passed to the Trade teams
Update and track new business opportunities through the CRM Sales Pipeline
Collation of TEU performance statistics, monthly reports and presentations as required by the Business Development Manager
Attend functions and face to face customer meetings with the Business Development Manager as required
Strong communication and liaison across the Commercial teams and the wider business to ensure operational support
