The organisation is funded by a large endowment currently valued at c.£1.1billion.

Interest from this investmentallows independent spend of up to £45m a year on improving health and care in the UK through a variety of value add grant giving schemes and strategic industry partnerships.


The Role


A key member of the Senior Management team, this Head of FP&A and Projects will be responsible for working closely alongside Financial Controller in supporting the Finance Director in the newly developed strategic vision and change plan for the Finance Department.

This Head of FP&A and Projects role will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning process, finance business partnering, management reporting and the financial systems for the Health Foundation.

They will play an integral part in the changes thatare being made within the wider organisation from a finance perspective.


  • Qualified accountant with sound academic background and logical career progression.
  • Proven FP&A and Business Partnering track record in a similar sized organisation.
  • Hands on experience in change management with a demonstrable success in improving processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to develop effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.

What's on offer?
Salary of c.£72,787 to £75,738 depending on experience. Hybrid working arrangement, on-site one day a week. Opportunity to join and make an impact on an evolving and reputable charity.
