Right Now Group are currently partnered with an leader who are recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the West/East Sussex region after a continued period of sustained growth.

If you consider yourself to be suitable for a Field Service role with an Electrical Engineering focus and are open to travel then this could be the ideal role for you.

Ideal Experience

Electrical Engineering background or relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds
NVQ or equivalent
Previously Field Service Engineering Experience
Experience in Repairing or Installing Catering, Kitchen or Industrial Equipment, i.e. Microwaves, Ovens

IMPORTANT:

Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.

Job Title:
Field Service Engineer

Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)

Saturday's to be paid at time and a half
-
Sundays to be paid at double time

Salary:
£28-35k

Job Responsibilities

Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realising opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer
Install, maintain and survey high end Catering/Kitchen appliances
Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation
Complete paperwork accurately and on time
Provide support required for internal and external customers
Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role
Service levels to customer leadtimes and KPIs

Desirable

Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role
Previous experience in repairing or installing Electrical kitchen appliances, microwaves, ovens, cookers, or industrial equipment
Electrical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of Electronics/Electrical engineering
Experience in working out on the road from a van or car
Good people/customer service skills
Flexible approach to working hours and days
Able to work under pressure
Have good problemsolving acumen
Able to both work independently and also as part of a team
