JOB TITLE:
Manual sprayer (Paint/Glue)
SALARY:
Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanding and preparation of counterweights for spray operations.
- Spray/Glue Painting
- Meet set targets while working in a high-volume production setting.
- Paint spraying of single and 2 pack paints.
- Report defects and possible issues to be rectified before paint/glue
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning and storage of painting/glue equipment.
- Ensure proper handling of equipment to minimise damage through spray process.
- Ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
- Leave working areas in a fit state to ensure no unnecessary health and safety risks prevail. Work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and other colleagues.
- Uphold the Core Values of the company and work to achieve the wider organisational objectives as detailed in the Corporate Plan.
- Achieve high standards of personal performance, through meeting agreed personal targets and undertaking training as required.
- Taking reasonable care of your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or do not do;
- Cooperating with the company on Health & Safety matters;
- Ensuring that you use work items provided by the company correctly and in accordance with the training and instruction received, including personal protective equipment (PPE);
- Ensuring that you do not interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety, or welfare purposes.

- Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications, Experience with industrial air/air less paint & Experience spraying equipment
- 2 years' experience working in a similar environment.
- Previous experience in painting 2 pack paints
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal with individuals at all levels of the business successfully
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative
- Flexibility to move between required tasks, business needs and departments
