Job Evaluation Analyst
Liverpool
Full-time temporary contract
Hybrid - 3 days on site
£15.50 per hour

As part of our improvement journey, we have undertaken a restructuring of key People roles to ensure resilience to our ongoing HR and grading practices.

On the back of this opportunity, we now require a Job Evaluation analyst to support our HR team in the ongoingwork in this area.

We have recognised the necessity for a temporary increase to work volumes in this area and we require a task orientated job analyst, who will be assisted by other trained analysts to keep momentum through evaluation tasks within the department and deal withthe extra workload.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to collate and record information from line managers for input into the computerised job evaluation scheme to generate job profiles and job scores as outputs.
  • Utilise the job evaluation system to pull reports and share these with the departmental managers to ensure an accurate and compliant evaluation is given in accordance with the grading policy.
  • An understanding of trade union relationships would be helpful, but the role will have parameters to escalate to other members of the functional team should grading reviews or other complex grading queries evolve.

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience in the use of all aspects of IT including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Microsoft excel and Microsoft Teams.
  • A heavily analytical approach to dealing with grading queries.
  • Experience in providing administrative advice to managers
  • Ability to work effectively to timescales and to meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Upmost confidentiality in all working practices
  • Preferably, an individual who has proven experience using NJCE grading software or other similar grading systems such as HAY
