An opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the Dermatology/Allergy Department at Broadgreen Hospital.

This role will involve providing clerical support to clinical teams, other administrative/secretarial staff and patients within the Dermatology/Allergy service.

The post holder will be able to communicate effectively with staff members and patients at all levels and able to prioritise their workload in a demanding and changing environment.

The post holder will be require to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Knowledge and experience of patient administration or appointment booking system (iPM) and previous NHS experience would be advantageous.

This role will comprise of various tasks (but not exclusively):

  • Answering phones
  • Use of iPM booking various dermatology appointments, rearranging and cancelling appointments as and when required and updating information within the system
  • General office based administration work.

To undertake clerical duties within the office area and provide reception duties to ensure the needs of the service are met.
