Head of IT Service Delivery

The Head of IT Service Delivery will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering the best IT experience for the end-user, from the pre-boarding to the onboarding of your colleagues, as well as their in-life support.
  • Specialist knowledge of ITIL Service Management disciplines and experience in implementing and maturing Service Management capabilities into global organisations
  • You will use the ITIL framework, but also be keen to learn, experiment and adapt it to deliver the best possible support to the end user, while additionally driving your service desk team to offer a premium user experience, both onsite and remotely.
  • You will manage and shape the Service Delivery team, helping to define the support model and the operational processes of any new systems developed, as well as managing any escalations linked to them. You will also be part of the Major Incident Managementteam, where you would own the incident management resolution process during a major incident, until the restoration of the service.
Skills you need for the position of Head of IT Service Delivery:

  • ITIL qualified to ITIL Expert level or better (or equivalent)
  • Passion for excellent service
  • Knowledge of enduser IT technologies
  • Investigative skills to find the root cause of any major incidents
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • A people leader and team motivator
  • Experience in managing 3rd parties and vendors
