About Our Client:

Located in Leicester, this a fully office based role.


The purpose of this role is to support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Support the Accounting & Finance team in daily tasks.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Help with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger
  • Participate in the monthend and yearend close process.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Support with Payroll.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
