JOB TITLE:
Chaplain




SALARY:
£32,920 to £34,335 per annum plus on - call allowance which is based on 10% of annual salary (full time equivalent) inclusive of on-call availability allowance




HOURS:
36 hours per week plus on call responsibilities




TENURE:
Permanent

We are seeking to appoint a Chaplain to join us, working with the Lead Chaplain within the Psychological and Spiritual Care Team.

The post holder will work collegially with the Lead Chaplain and colleagues in the Psychological and Spiritual Care Team.


With the Lead Chaplain, the postholder will have specific responsibility for the delivery of religious, pastoral and spiritual care to patients and their family members and carers.

Integral to the role is an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospice and to ensure that any volunteers assisting the work of the Chaplains are supported.


The post holder will also ensure that the profile of Spiritual Care is maintained throughout the organisation and in the community.

The role encompasses an awareness of faith based and broad spiritual needs at the end of life.
