HR Assistant


HR across Statkraft is continuously working to enable good organisational and people development, and the best possible day-to-day employee experience for our Statkraft colleagues.

We are currently seeking an HR Assistant to join our talented UK HR team on a fixed term basis (1 year).

You will be based in our London office and will be providing quality HR Administrative support to the UK business, working within our local HR team of 5.

You will have opportunities to participate in various HR project work and assist with annual processes such as the Goal & Development review, bonus cycle and salary review.

Your role:


HRIS Administration:


  • Registering and terminating users, organisational changes
  • Running adhoc and regular reports for the HR team on Sickness, Probation, FTCs etc

Onboarding and Offboarding processes:


  • Liaising with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, Admin and IT teams
  • Drafting and issuing Offer letters and contracts and working on all the administrative processes related to onboarding (referencing, setting up on systems, welcome pack etc).
  • Managing offboarding of employees leaver letters, system termination, exit interviews where required
  • Ensuring Payroll has all relevant starter and leaver, and changes of terms documentation for monthly processing, assisting the Senior Global People Solutions Advisor with starter and leaver benefit administration
  • Run HR Inductions for new hires (12 per month)
  • Responsible for distributing the settingin survey
  • Assisting the HR Advisors in the continuous improvement of the onboarding experience

General HR administration:


  • Own the HR UK tickets in the ticketing tool 'Service Now' and manage incoming tickets delegating, actioning and resolving tickets.
  • Being the first point of contact in the HR team, manage and answer queries from employees and signpost them to the right information/contact if needed
  • Drafting employment related documentation e.g., Variations to contract, employment references and confirmations, visa support letters, study support agreements etc.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across Statkraft in different geographies
  • Develop strong working relationships with all employees and HR service providers to ensure the best level of service
  • Online employee file administration
  • Verifying invoices and raising Purchase Orders
  • Administration support with Statkraft's' annual HR processes such as bonus and salary evaluations, goal and development cycles etc
  • Assist with preparing maternity, paternity schedules and related tasks
  • Administration support with investigations, disciplinary or grievance cases where required
  • Work with UK HR team to update all relevant templates and forms and improve processes.
  • Support HR team with all administration requirements, scanning and efiling, maintenance of HR files
  • Own the Cardinus Healthy Working & Driving system add/remove users, oversee rollout or yearly training

Qualifications:


  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
  • Strong organisation skills and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Experienced in full employee life cycle HR processes and support
  • A passion for continuous improvement
  • Some knowledge of UK employment legislation and a willingness to learn
  • Experienced user of MS Office suite, HR systems and other collaboration tools
  • A team player with strong communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to deal with queries and tasks confidentially
  • Proactive, outside the box thinker and solutionoriented person who is able deliver quality results on time
  • Ability to work in situations where there is ambiguity
  • Experience supporting an HR function in a similar role
