An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised person to join our Ward Clerk/Receptionist Team providing efficient administrative support on the Antenatal Assessment Unit within the Women & Children's Division.

The Antenatal Assessment Unit is an acute area within maternity that sees a wide range of complications in pregnancy. This job requires a highly motivated person who can work under pressure whilst dealing with sensitive issues. An excellent team player is essential.

You will need excellent communication skills, be adaptable and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative in a logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions.

Flexibility and reliability is of extreme importance as is the ability to work well within a team.

The successful post holder will be expected to cover colleagues within other areas of maternity in times of sickness and annual leave.
