Description
The Purchasing Manager will have overall accountability of the warehouses and its inventory. You will continue to develop this growth within the company.

You will ensure the Stock Controller, Buyer, and Despatch teams meet the required company objectivesand ensure accuracy of the stock values.

You will have full control of implementing purchasing strategies to meet the goals.

Location - Littlehampton

Salary - up to £55k

The role & responsibilities of the purchasing manager will be - Reduce total stock value held on site

Reduce stock days

Improve purchased stock accuracy

Ensuring sufficient stock is onsite to meet production demand

Stock cycle count and stock analysis

Stock valuation reporting

Purchase order management and MRP

Sales contract review

Supplier delivery performance management

Developing purchasing strategy

Building and managing supplier relationships

Managing the Stores and Despatch team

Knowledge of ISO9001 and ideally ISO13485

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Excellent computer skills (office, spreadsheets, device software

Ideally experience working in a heavily regulated industry (Medical, Food, Pharma)

You should be a motivated & results orientated team player who can also work on your own initiative, with excellent problem solving & decision-making skills

Full driving licence and ability to travel to supplier sites
