Reporting to:
Production Manager
Well organised individual, who is able to work under pressure, work with colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of all deliveries, and deliver a high quality service to all our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load deliveries onto company vehicle
- Multiple drops around the UK including handling of glass and stainless steel
- Comply with the Manual Handling Risk Assessments
- Occasionally undertake receipt of all goods inbound / loading offloading vehicles
- Check /receive/put away stock in to allocated locations within the warehouse in a timely manor
- Comply with the Manual Handling Risk Assessments
- Comply with the safe systems of work
- Completing appropriate paperwork to keep accurate records.
- Pragmatic approach to problem
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the business, this also includes warehouse work
- Undertake forklift truck duties as required, ensuring that daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly
- To meet the standards of performance, Behaviour and attendance as laid down by company policies and procedures
- To ensure that reasonable care is taken at all time for health & safety for yourself to comply with policies and procedures relating to health & safety within the company raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager
Skills / Experience
- Experience of manual handling and deliveries of fragile goods
- Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and methodical approach
- Good understanding of, and commitment to, safe working practices.
- Fork lift licence
- Good literacy skills
- Dedicated reliable with a flexible attitude
- Have some IT skills
- Clean driving licence is essential
Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour

- Driving: 5 years (preferred)
