Body In White Inspector

  • Department: Vehicle Manufacturing
  • Location: Gaydon Onsite Fulltime
  • Contract type: 6 Months Contract (Possible extensions, depending on project requirements)
  • Working Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 6am 2pm, 2pm 10pm & 10pm6am (rotating weekly)

We are looking for an experienced
Body In White profiling Inspector to work with one of our prestigious vehicle manufacturers.

For you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for ensuring that all exterior vehicle components/parts and Body are in immaculate condition
  • Responsible for profiling the vehicles
  • Working towards the requirements/Drawings/GD&T
  • Conducting drawing to physical quality inspections
  • Responsible for conducting all components are adjusted, aligned and gap analysis is completed
  • Report all defects/roadblocks/Issues

Requirements:


  • Proven previous experience as a BIW Profiling quality inspector
  • Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry
  • Previous proven experience and knowledge of Body in white.
  • Previous proven experience and knowledge of joining elements, manufacturing and tolerances
  • Proven working experience with the assembly processes.
  • Proven working knowledge of vehicle development system & benchmarking
  • Experienced and fully knowledgeable with requirements and design drawings
  • Working in a busy fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, teamworking abilities and initiative
  • Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures
  • Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards
  • Must have Hi-Vis and safety footwear
  • Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
  • RTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Pay:
£20.00-£22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Warwick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
