We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

The Opportunity:

The Wilkinson laboratory seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This post is available from April 2023 for three years (salary of £35,333-£42,155, dependent upon experience).

Selective autophagy of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER-phagy) is emerging as a fundamental pathway in maintenance of cellular health. Furthermore, our laboratory has identified aberrations in ER-phagy during formation and progression of cancer.

However, our view of the molecular composition and function(s) of the ER-phagy pathway is incomplete, especially in physiologically relevant settings.

Overall, the work will contribute to a larger, high-quality program of research designed to address the mechanisms and functions of ER-phagy, hosted within a dynamic laboratory at the forefront of this field.
