The role:


The Storesperson will be required to receive, handle, store and issue company stocks of materials in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with company code of practice/operating procedures.


The responsibilities of the role include(but are not limited to)**:

  • Using established procedures to ensure all received stock is counted, documented, labelled and stacked in the appropriate locations.
  • Ensuring all stock is kept in a satisfactory condition and damaged material is identified, quarantined and reported immediately to quality engineering.
  • Ensure all demands for issuing material is done within the agreed timescales and in accordance with the stores code of practice.
  • Maintain a clean and controlled working environment.
  • To carry out regular stocktakes to agreed time scales.
  • Monitor shelflife constraints', ensuring that such materials are reviewed on a periodic basis prior to expiry date.

Storesperson Specification:


  • Right to live and work in the UK,
  • Holds recognised forklift truck driving licence
  • Basic IT Skills (Word, Excel)
This role will be worked over a 5 day week; Monday to Friday 10:00-18:00. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team.
