Absolute are excited to be partnered with a charitable organisation that work closely with local authorities to promote health and fitness in London.

They are now looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join the team, to oversee a team of 5 and step into a leadership role.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, board reporting, and the role will play a keypart in the fundraising process.

What will you be doing in this role?

Providing support to colleagues in key areas of finance, including, financial management, governance, budgeting, grant giving, and raising funds.
Lead on external reporting to funders, including preparation and review of financial and related reports in line with contractual requirements, activity, and budgets.
Supporting the Director of Finance to develop, implement and review policies, procedures and processes, and legislation.
As part of a team, contribute to all internal reporting including quarterly board reporting and monthly management accounts
Assisting in the annual audit process.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a notforprofit organisation
Qualified or partqualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Experience managing and developing high performance teams
Understanding of charity governance structures, and having practical experience in fundraising
Strong communication skills

Salary:
£35,000 - £40,000
