Description

Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to work for a successful business based in South Yorkshire.

Paying:
£52,000 basic salary.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing automated machinery operations
Taking responsibility for the day to day operational performance of the machinery and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in the first instance
Planning routine machinery maintenance and fixing immediate issues as and when they arise
Striving to reduce wastage and increase productivity across all production lines
Maintaining H&S standards and conditions for both employees and the factory
Communicating any problems or obstacles to management
Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
Training and coaching factory operatives
Ensuring the manufacturing area is a safe and efficient
Experienced Manufacturing Production Manager ideally within a KBB or furniture setting
Experienced within the kitchen or furniture manufacturing industries
Must be hands on and willing to lead from the front
Flexibility to work longer hours or be available on hand in the case of a machine malfunction
Full UK driving Licence
