- **Our client is a world leading company based in Cambridge that owns £3 billion worth of assets which is built up of commercial and heritage estates across the region. You will play a key part in the future development of the company sites across the region.

As well as assessing the needs for new buildings and refurbishments, you will be keeping a close eye on the overall construction and cost of all ongoing projects.

**What's involved for the Building Surveyor: - **- Manage new and refurbished building projects

Manage, lead and motivate apprentice surveyor and sub contractors
Write up and translate technical surveys and reports
Ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
Direct project teams to achieve goals
Negotiate fees with consultants
Responsible for projects up to £1 million in value
Identify and manage risks to budget
Confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels

**What you'll need:
- *

Experience in Building Surveying
Management or leadership experience
Good communication and written skills
Experience of managing building projects
Effective decision making skills
Qualification within Building Surveying
