Description

The post holder will manage their own caseload, work autonomously in the fast track clinics and provide support for breast screening assessment.

They will be expected to carry out the full range of mammographic and ultrasound examinations and produce independent reports. They will undertake mammography reporting for the screening and symptomatic services.


The postholder will be expected to work towards development into the role of Consultant Radiographer, Band 8b, completing professional accreditation in the future.


The successful applicant will contribute to the further development of the breast imaging service and work closely with the Clinical Director, Director of screening and Breast Imaging Manager towards the operational and strategic developments within the department.
