We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for a Senior SEN Tribunals, Resolutions & Compliance Officer

This is a brief overview of the key objectives of the job including the context within the team/department.

  • To ensure that all Tribunal processes are completed in the timeframes set out in the guidance and legislation
  • To support the Resolutions & Compliance Lead Officer to ensure that the strategic aims for children and young people with special educational needs are met within the legislative frameworks.
  • To take lead responsibility for advising parents, schools, colleges and providers in implementing SEND decisions, managing expectations, issues and arising disputes on these decisions.
  • To lead and manage the Tribunal process for all cases from 0 up to age 25 to ensure that all deadline dates are met and that all case preparation is in line with Tribunal rules.
