Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Co-ordinator to join our friendly and supportive administrative team in Stroke / Care of the Elderly.

This is an interesting and varied role, which involves regular interaction with doctors, patients and other care professionals.

The role will largely be supporting the TIA Consultants and Doctors with patient TIA pathways, whilst directly line managing the TIA admin secretary and working closely with other admin colleagues in the department who support the Stroke/ Care of the Elderly Clinical Teams.

The successful applicant will provide a confidential and professional TIA service to the Stroke clinical team. Good communication with patients, General Practitioners and other Hospital staff is essential to ensure a responsive, high quality service.

We are looking for a motivated individual who believes in an ethos of continual improvement and high quality patient-centred care.

The ideal post-holder will be organised and focused, with a keen attention to detail.

You will have well-developed communication and time management skills.

An ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment is essential. You will ideally have a minimum of 1 years' secretarial experience in a medical setting.
