Delivery Driver / Draymen required to join the Davenports family,Since 1829 the Davenports brand has delivered beer all over the west midlands area. Based at our brewery and warehouse in Smethwick the successful applicants responsibilities will include
Hours 40 per week
- Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
- Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers
- Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they're accurate
- Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
- Assisting at the warehouse and backdoor
They must be thorough in making sure products are properly delivered, passionate about making clients satisfied and committed to work safety.
- Excellent knowledge of 40mile radius of Warehouse
- Good eyesight and hearing
- Good timekeeping skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of six points
- Minimum of three years driving experience
