Open Ended Contract - Permanent: Full Time - 35 Hours per Week


Would you like to support work to tackle global and local challenges? Do you want to help talented students from across Scotland and around the globe access a world class education, whatever their circumstances? We are seeking a Senior Philanthropy Officer, Trusts and Foundations to work on varied and exciting projects across the University.


Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy Trusts and Foundations, you will be part of the respected Trusts Team within Development & Alumni - a friendly and inclusive department within the University.

You will provide leadership in fundraising from trusts and foundations and demonstrate sympathy with the University's values and aspirations.

  • Significant experience of proposal writing, including playing a lead role in securing large gifts

  • The ability to identify, develop and articulate philanthropicallyfundable projects
