Senior Care Assistant - Nights, required for our brand-new luxury care home 'Hermitage House' in Thrapston, NN14 4GN, Part of the Country Court Family.
Hours:
Nights 22.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 1945 to 0800)

Hermitage House Care Home is due to open in March 2023 & will accommodate 67 residents across three floors and provide person-centred residential & specialist dementia care.
We are now looking for Senior Care Assistants to join us, just before we open our doors to our 1st residents in March 2023.
We like to ensure everyone receives exceptional training, so your first 2 weeks induction will ensure you know all about your role, the team around you and the home.
We'll provide you with the right tools, information, and thorough training ready to deliver the very best care to our residents, this initial training will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care,
- Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
- Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining care plans

- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Have a friendly & caring attitude.
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal.

We operate COVID secure homes and have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety of all residents and staff.
This includes regular Covid & temperature testing and wearing appropriate PPE, including a face mask to be worn at all times whilst on shift, unless medically exempt.
