Part Time KS2 Teacher - Maternity CoverTeaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join one of our primary schools in Doncaser, DN11 in February 2023 on a part-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
What skills and experience we are looking for: Essential
- Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
- Knowledge of current educational practice and issues in primary
- Knowledge of the provisions of national strategies, i.e., Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT
- Any statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording and reporting of pupils' attainment and progress
- Effective use of ICT to support learning
- Ability to teach in the Primary phase
- High level of written, oral and communication skills
- Work effectively as part of a team, relating well to colleagues, pupils, and parents
- Establish clear expectations and constructive working relationships in your own classroom through team working and mutual support
- Devolving responsibilities and delegating tasks where appropriate
- Commitment to an involvement in extracurricular activities
- Knowledge of all phases of primary education
- The implications of the Code of Practice for Special Educational Needs for teaching and learning
- Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
