Part Time KS2 Teacher - Maternity Cover

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join one of our primary schools in Doncaser, DN11 in February 2023 on a part-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

What skills and experience we are looking for: Essential

Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
Knowledge of current educational practice and issues in primary
Knowledge of the provisions of national strategies, i.e., Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT
Any statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording and reporting of pupils' attainment and progress
Effective use of ICT to support learning
Ability to teach in the Primary phase
High level of written, oral and communication skills
Work effectively as part of a team, relating well to colleagues, pupils, and parents
Establish clear expectations and constructive working relationships in your own classroom through team working and mutual support
Devolving responsibilities and delegating tasks where appropriate
Commitment to an involvement in extracurricular activities

Desirable

Knowledge of all phases of primary education
The implications of the Code of Practice for Special Educational Needs for teaching and learning
Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation
