Purpose and objectives of the role
We're looking for an experienced professional to fill this role within our Credit Control Team.
Main duties and responsibilities
Actively pursue current and overdue debt whilst maintaining positive relationships with customers
Monitoring debtor balances and ensuring timely collection of payments.
Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
Providing regular updates on debtor's statuses to internal staff/directors
Cash allocations on the finance system.
Being self-motivated and able to plan your time effectively.
Communicating professionally and amicably with our customers, and staff at all levels of the company
Provide support to the finance team as needed
Knowledge, skills & experience
Experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of credit control and debt recovery.
Proven experience of supervising a small team of people.
Problem solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Mail, Excel and Word).
Be professional and courteous at all times.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all clients.
Ability to work with People at all levels, from directors through to senior operational managers and administrators.
Solution Orientated and a good problem solver
Good relationship building and management skills as well as the ability to use good Influencing skills
