Description
Interviews will be held on 08 May 2024.

Place of Safety (POS) is safe area for patients who may be posing a risk to the public with various mental health issues.

The police can use the law (the mental health act) to take people from a public place to a 'place of safety' if they seem to have a mental illness and be in the need of care.

Place of Safety is a place where mental health professionals can then assess people's mental state and determine whether they require treatment or further support.

It's not a problem if you don't have clinical experience. We are keen to help you to build on your skills. We will nurture your talents and support your development into a confident and competent member of our team.

With excellent communication and people skills, you will reassure those in your care, discussing distressing and sensitive situations in a kind, calm and respectful manner.

Helpful and approachable, you will deliver a seamless service and will be eager to assist with queries both face-to-face and over the phone.

As a highly valued support worker the role will involve supporting qualified staff and working closely with patients, carrying out patient observations and providing personal care as required.
