This fantastic construction solicitor opportunity is with a top tier regional firm in Leeds.

Our client have a clear idea of where they want to be in the legal market and continue to make investment in their people, to provide the highest quality of work to their clients.

The firm have had significant growth throughout the recent years and plan to continue to grow the firm. This would be an exciting time to join, as you will have some excellent progression opportunities.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction solicitor to work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with one of the partners on high quality construction, energy and property matters.

You will be advising on a range of non-contentious and contentious matters:

  • Drafting and reviewing standard form contracts, JCT, NEC, FIDIC
  • Supporting commercial property colleagues on property documentation needing a construction input
  • Advising and liaising with energy colleagues on energy documentations
  • Advising clients on disputes during construction projects
  • Acting for clients in adjudications, arbitrations and TCC cases
  • Attending adjudication, arbitration and court hearings with clients
You will ideally have experience in both non-contentious and contentious construction matters.
You will have a commercial outlook and be articulate to be able to build and develop relationships
Ideally be 3+ years experience within a regional/ national firm.
