About the role
Reporting to the GFS Manager, the role is part of a team that prepares financial statements for international clients of the global management services arm of the Outsourcing (OTS) practice.
This work will be undertaken using dedicated third-party software.It will involve working closely with RSMI International member firms to prepare relevant GAAP bridges, deal with ad hoc audit enquiries, and review the financial statements.
About the department
Our global management services team provides multi-country clients with a seamless, single point of contact access to the firm's global network by co-ordinating the local country delivery of regulatory compliance services such as direct tax compliance andreporting, management and financial accounting, local statutory audit and local payroll.
Having successfully implemented a Global VAT compliance service delivering centralised, UK-based VAT compliance services to our international client base, we have further expanded our global service offering options for clients by adding an international bookkeepingcentre and a virtual centre for the preparation of international financial statements.
The initial establishment phase of the GFS team is complete, and several clients have been secured.The next stage is to build further clarity into the model, expand its market presence internally and externally and grow the business accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of global financial statements using dedicated thirdparty software, ensuring a highquality service.
- Working with RSM member firms for local quality assurance of financial statements, where required.
- Participating in the global management services team strategy.
- The above are given as a guide to some of the key responsibilities, however you should have the ability to respond quickly and positively to future change and evolving objectives._
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is keen to learn International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and how to prepare financial statements for multiple countries; and has a desire for a long career with RSM as the GFS divisioncontinues to grow.
