£50,300 - £58,284 per annum

This is an outstanding opportunity to join the senior management of a thriving School, which brings together seven units engaged in teaching and research in Area Studies.

Working closely with the Head of School, Heads of units and other senior academic colleagues, you will play a key role in the School's strategic planning.

As Head of Administration and Finance, you will oversee the administration and finance of all component parts of the School and will lead an operational team (currently 17 staff) responsible for all the non-academic and academic support functions including managing finance, personnel, research support, IT, student and teaching administration, buildings, and health and safety.

You will have proven staff management and administrative skills, with substantial experience of financial management, business planning, service delivery, project management, developing and leading high performing teams, and of managing change in a complex environment.

Experience of working in a higher education or related environment would be an advantage.

This post is full-time and permanent.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held during the week commencing 27 February 2023.
