Are you our next Kitchen Assistant? Here's more about the role:

First and foremost - we work together as a team to enrich our residents' lives - let's support our colleagues too and have fun in the process.

To ensure the kitchen maintains a high standard of cleanliness and adheres to food hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.

To carry out any duties as directed by the kitchen staff including the preparation of vegetables and light snacks ensuring excellent standards of hygiene
Follow a daily/weekly cleaning programme
Assist with receipt of deliveries, storage and stock rotation.
To ensure that all equipment is used correctly and COSHH data analysis sheets are followed.

What skills do I need?

Team work A happy team, makes for happy residents and a happy home
Basic Food Hygiene and basic food preparation certificates.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Friendly, professional, confident, honest and reliable
A good knowledge of health and safety procedures
Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach
You'll also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve.
