What you can expect:


As an Apprentice Multi Trade here at Novus, your role would typically be working alongside a team of trade colleagues undertaking planned Social Housing refurbishment works in customers' homes across the region, the skills you would learn throughout your apprenticeship would include.

Repairs
  • Carry out basic repairs and planned refurbishment works carpentry, electrical, plumbing, plastering, and decorating repairs to the fabric of a building.

Tools

  • To use and maintain hand and power tools to achieve optimum performance, appropriate to the project, ensuring to store safely.

Resources

  • Learning the importance of control or resources and stock.

Health & Safety
  • To learn the principles of health, safety and welfare and how these are applied in the workplace.

Teamwork

  • The role will give the skills and abilities to not only be part of a team but to play an active role within a busy team.

Stakeholder Management

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Managers, Colleagues and Customers

The selection process will include;

  • First stage
  • Second stage
  • Our Resourcing team will conduct a short telephone interview.
  • Final stage Assessment centre being held on
    either Wednesday 12th or Thursday 13th June 2024 (to be confirmed) (if selected you would need to be available on the agreed date)

Pay:
£6.60 per hour
