Intelligence / Investigation Analysts - 3 in London or 1 in Birmingham

Government client requires Intelligence / Investigation Analysts

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location:

London - role is to be based mainly in London office (60%) with some remote working,but will need to prepared to work mainly in the office.

Intelligence Development - Financial Crime / Money Laundering
Required PIP (Not PIP2)
Will be required to support existing team, monitor/development.

Main Responsibilities

Assessment of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) under Part 7 of Proceeds of Crime Act in order that they comply with the legislation
Making decisions in an operational environment within the strict time limits laid out in law.
Dealing with enquiries from the reporting sector, and end users including all areas of law enforcement.
Working with partners and stakeholders to exploit intelligence sharing opportunities relating to economic crime and proactively identify high priority targets;
Governance, management and communications in relation to the SARs regime, and coordination with other areas of LEAs, internally and externally
Carrying out administrative duties;

Required PIP (Professionalising _
Investigation_ Programme) qualification
Experience of working to tight deadlines, work prioritisation and managing competing demands

Experience of analysing information from a range of sources to resolve problems;
Awareness of legislation affecting Agency activity (particularly UKFIU, handling of sensitive / confidential data);

PS:

Security clearance vetting will be required for these roles, so if not immediately available, may not be an issue.
