Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist


We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist to work in the ELFT Rough Sleepers Mental Health Project (RAMHP).

The team works across the City of London, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham and works with street outreach services to support people who sleep rough and help them get the right mental health care.

We work together with other agencies to support service users in challenging circumstances.

This role requires an understanding of the health needs of rough sleepers and the challenges homeless people face in health settings.

We are looking for people who are creative in how they engage and support people with complex needs.


You will be an active member of the multidisciplinary team, provide bio-psychosocial assessments and support to rough sleepers referred by the street outreach teams.

Trained AMHPs will contribute to the Tower Hamlets AMHP rota.

This role requires an understanding of the health needs of rough sleepers and the challenges homeless people face in health settings.
