Are you a highly organised and proactive individual looking for a rewarding career in healthcare administration? We are currently seeking an experienced Clinic Secretary to join our World Class Well Travelled Clinics who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Clinics.


Key elements of the role are (but not limited to):


Clinic duties:


  • Make up patient notes, retrieve and file patient records
  • Book NHS appointments using the clinic's appointments database
  • Administration of clinical letters and reports
  • Prepare invoices for private patients seen in NHS clinic
  • Carry out any ordering of clinical and nonclinical supplies for NHS clinics

General office duties:


  • Answer telephone and personal enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, typing reports, photocopying
  • Implement new systems to help in the day to day running of the clinic.
  • Maintain and improve own knowledge and competence through continuing CPD
  • Secretarial qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience of NHS Patient Administration Systems
  • Experience of dealing with patients/clients face to face and over the phone.
  • Able to work with sensitivity/tact, including a commitment to confidentiality

Circumstances to consider:

This is a part-time role (21 hours a week to be worked between Monday - Friday)


Please note that this is not a NHS contract, but the work is focused on the delivery of out NHS service level agreement.
