We are seeking a passionate content developer who either wants to move into learning or is already working in it.

This role offers the chance to start or advance your career in this fast expanding sector.

Want to make a difference? This role offers the chance to create content that helps our clinical colleagues and patients.

Join us at an exciting time as we continue the redevelopment of our learning offer. You will get to work on innovative projects that make heavy use of video/animation. And you will help us create learning games and VR solutions.

The Digital Learning Team at the NCA is made up of passionate individuals who have a track record in pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

You will work in a supportive environment that will enables you to grow your talent.

Don't worry if you haven't worked in learning:

we can provide you with the training that you need to take your existing content creation skills to the next level and enable you to take advantage the amazing opportunities that have opened up in digital learning.

You will liaise with clinical and professional colleagues to support the delivery of digital learning. Along with other members of the Digital Learning Team, you will advise colleagues on best practice. You will work on joint projects with other external partners such as Universities and third-party suppliers.


The role is varied.

On any given day, you could be:


  • Turning base content from clinicians and or profession support colleagues into impactful learning.
  • Creating graphic, photographic and animation assets for learning courses.
  • Developing interactive PDFs to support learning and behaviour change.
  • Exploring the latest learning technologies such as games and virtual/augmented reality.
  • Creating pages on the external website or intranet using a modern content management system.
  • Helping with the promotion of digital learning.

About you:


  • You will have a keen attention to detail and be experienced in content creation ideally in a learning environment.
  • You understand how to structure content to communicate an effective message or achieve learning outcomes.
  • You will be familiar with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Vyond.
  • Ideally, you will have experience using authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate or Lectora. But, if you don't, being able to create a great PowerPoint/PDF is a good starting point.
  • You will be passionate, willing to learn and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
  • You will be a problem solver and have a 'can do' attitude.
  • And most of all, you will have a desire to make a difference
