Our leading home development client is currently looking to expand their team.


We are currently looking for a part time health and safety advisor to support our construction site team in their duties.

You will be reporting directly to the Construction Director


Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to site managers with initial site setup to ensure all safety documentation and signs are in place.
  • Should any works be required to cease you would need to take photographic evidence and provide a detailed written report to the construction director.
  • Support our site tradesman with ongoing health and safety training.
  • Carry our formal site inspections and provide written report scoring the site with photos to support.
  • Investigate & report to the Construction Director all potential RIDDORS, Accidents, Minor Injuries, Non-Conformances and Near Misses.
  • Investigate & report all Enforcing Authority visits to the Construction Director.
  • Analise site reports to find high risk tasks and how we can improve
  • Attend monthly management meeting to present your findings and areas of improvement.
  • Produce monthly summary reports.
  • Deliver on site Toolbox talks & Training where required.
  • Assist in the development of site and business action plans.

Required Qualifications:


  • NEBOSH Construction
  • NEBOSH Environment
  • AIEMA
  • TechIOSH

Key knowledge and skills:


  • Construction experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Knowledge of current Health and safety legislation.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Risk assessment writing
  • Carry out high level of research knowledge.
