An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ultrasound department at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Successful applicants will work within the ultrasound department, assisting with the day to day running of the service.


The Radiology Department Assistant works as part of the Radiology team, providing an efficient, high quality and patient focused imaging service.


You will be expected to liaise and care for patients in a professional manner and will be expected, over time, to develop skills and experience within the ultrasound department.


You will provide assistance to qualified staff before, during and after imaging examinations undertaken in the department or occasionally other hospital locations and give the necessary direct care as required to the patient throughout their imaging care pathway.
