- Manage all aspects of payroll processing for a range of clients.
- Undertake general administrative duties.
- Processing employee salaries starters and leavers. Update all statutory payments as appropriate, including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP and attachment of earnings orders.
- Input and submit autoenrolment pension data onto third party pension software systems.
- Dealing with Tax year end submissions and P60's and RTI submissions.
- Any other duties as required by the business.
We'd love to meet someone...
- A good understanding of payroll processing procedures and legislation.
- Previous experience working in a payroll office/bureau environment, ideally within a practice.
- Proficient use of Sage Payroll software is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience using Xero is desirable.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Outlook.
- Problem solving abilities in order that you can take client issues and independently and satisfactorily resolve them.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at every level.
- A good eye for detail, and a flair for producing high quality written communications.
- A positive mindset and a get up and go, cando attitude.
- Ability to respond under pressure in a complex environment, whilst managing a high and diverse workload.
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
£10.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
